Defacto Dental Plan

Defacto Dental Plan is the most exciting and innovative solution to appear in the dental profession for years. All private and NHS patients should seriously consider talking to their dentists about the huge benefits Defacto Dental Plan provides.

Another Dental Plan?

Absolutely not. This is something very different. Indeed, many clinics add the Defacto Dental Plan on to your existing dental plan in order to extend the benefits.

Are my teeth actually guaranteed?

Not only are your teeth guaranteed, payment of your treatment (should it be required) is guaranteed as well. Let’s say, as an example, you needed a crown or a dental implant in the next 12 months. Your dental plan will probably provide a discount of 10% against this treatment. Because your teeth are guaranteed with Defacto Dental Plan, the cost of this treatment is covered up to the value of £3,000. No more surprises!

What do I have to do to sign up?

You will have an assessment during your next visit to your dentist. They will scan your teeth, recording any potential problem areas you may have. You will be given a full report, generated by the most advanced AI technology, ratified by your dentist. Your dentist will then provide you with a guarantee and you are covered for the next 12 months. It’s as simple as that.

This must cost a lot, right?

Nope. You would be right in thinking that this is a very expensive proposition, but it isn’t. In fact, the cost is only £279 and we deduct an allowance of £100 from this to pay towards your first dental consultation and your hygienist visit!

Payments can be split across 3 months with zero interest using Paypal Pay in Three.

What do I get for my money?

The focus is on your oral health and wellbeing. Included in your annual fee is a 6 monthly visit to your hygienist, which you must attend. It also includes a full assessment of your oral health and highlights areas which may be of concern in the future. You can escape the waiting lists in NHS clinics and go to a private dental clinic. The cost of any unforeseen treatment that is needed is covered up to the value of £3,000. As an added incentive, we include £1,000 insurance against accidental damage to your teeth. This means you are fully protected from accidents AND unexpected treatments.

What is the difference between a guaranteed dental protection plan, a dental maintenance plan, and a capitation plan available through dental practices?

The services provided in Maintenance and Capita1on Plans are all paid by participating patients, and the costs are spread over the course of a year. With the exception of a nominal discount applied to dental repair and restoration work, which is not covered by maintenance plans, there is no protection or cost savings of any significance.

What is the difference between a guaranteed dental protection plan and dental insurance?

Most dental insurance policies cover costs incurred for check-ups, hygiene visits, and dental accidents. However the coverage provided for restorative dentistry is typically limited to 50% and 60% of the procedure price. Coverage is also limited to a combined overall claims limit, typically up to a maximum of £1,000.

What’s different about a guaranteed dental protection plan?

Plan members only need to pay for the cost of their plans. The activating dentist will recommend the ideal number of check-ups and hygiene visits according to clinical need. When problems arise, they simply need to schedule an appointment through their activating dental practice, and they can have their teeth repaired, restored, or replaced with an implant (if necessary) free of charge up to £3,000 in value.

Can I go to any clinic?

Yes. If you are registered, you can contact your own dentist and make your appointment as normal. You have your £100 allowance towards your initial consultation and a hygienist visit.

If you are not registered with a clinic, you have your £100 allowance to approach any private or NHS clinic for an initial consultation. There are hundreds of clinics near you on who will be happy to welcome you to their clinic.

Hopefully this answers many of your questions. We also hope that you see the incredible value in the Defacto Teeth Guarantee.
